Universe 7's God of Destruction. He destroys worlds to make room for new ones, helping bring balance to the universe. He commands a great deal of respect and is capricious enough to destroy entire planets if he is not shown that respect. King Kai greatly fears his astounding power.
Beerus loves to eat and rest, and is known to sleep for long stretches of time. Before arriving on Earth, he slept for 39 years--what equates to a nap for him. He loves delicious food and seems to have grown quite fond of the delicacies found on Earth.
Though they occupy positions equal to those of Supreme Kais, Gods of Destruction are feared even by them for the overwhelming power they wield. Beerus' power allowed him to seal the Elder Kai inside the Z-Sword, as well as reduce King Kai's Planet to its current size after losing in hide-and-seek.
