She is Goku's wife, and the only daughter of the Ox-King. She is a naïve, expressive and rich girl. When she was a girl she was searching for the Turtle Hermit to put out the fires of Fry Pan Mountain when she met Goku. Her pure heart allowed her to easily ride on the Nimbus, and she was given a ride to Kame House. When they were riding the Nimbus, Chi-Chi decided that she would become Goku's wife, and eventually fell in love with him. Goku even promised to marry her.
However, she became impatient waiting for Goku, who never came for her, and goes after him, participating in the World Tournament. She hides her name, wanting to be anonymous, and when she fought Goku she completely lost. Goku remembered the promise after the match and readily agreed to marry her. All of her goals were reached.
She is the type that cannot be stopped, even if she is wrong. Once she gets the (wrong) idea into her head she clings to it, especially in her younger days. She also is a little extreme. When she had killed a dinosaur for meat and met Yamcha immediately after, she thought he was an enemy and attacked. She also made a surprise attack on the Turtle Hermit, thinking he could dodge it if it really was him.
