Fiore

Fiore is a character exclusive to Sailor Moon R: The Movie, and the main antagonist of his film. Fiore is an alien who once traveled alone through space, 'not knowing when or where [he] was born'. At the last of his strength, he arrived on Earth, where he was found by a recently orphaned Mamoru Chiba. Mamoru brought him in from the rain and let him stay in his hospital room. Fiore was immediately attached to Mamoru, saying that Mamoru was the one who had called out to him, and that they were now not alone.

Fiore was unable to stay on Earth due to the Earth's atmosphere. Just before he left, Mamoru gifted him with a red rose, and Fiore promised to return with flowers as well.

Years later, Fiore returns to Earth with the Xenian Flower, a parasitic flower which manipulates the minds of weak-willed people in order to spread and reproduce. Fiore tries to reconnect with Mamoru, but becomes violently jealous at the appearance of Usagi Tsukino/Sailor Moon. He becomes convinced, through the flower's manipulation, that Usagi is his enemy who is manipulating Mamoru. While attempting to kill her, he instead injures Mamoru. Fiore then kidnaps Mamoru away to his base on a nearby asteroid, where Usagi heads to rescue him.

Note: It is most likely that he is the same species as Ail and An from the Sailor Moon R TV series, although Fiore claims to not know his own heritage.
